An LED lamp base is both a light source and the physical support for the display above it. A useful buying decision starts with the acrylic plate, crystal object or decorative insert—not with the number of lighting modes.

Define what the base must support

Send the insert material, width, height, thickness and approximate weight. A flat acrylic plate normally needs a slot that holds the lower edge consistently. A crystal ball or block may need a flat or concave top and a stable illuminated contact area. A base that looks suitable in a photograph can still be the wrong match if the insert is too thick, too tall or unbalanced.

Start with a current platform where it fits

The classic round acrylic lamp base, USB beech wood acrylic lamp base and square and round RGB crystal display base answer different display needs. Review the standard configuration first, then identify only the changes your program requires.

Separate private-label changes from engineering changes

A logo, approved standard finish or packaging direction may fit an ODM / Private Label project. A new slot, housing size, control system, PCB, power arrangement or load-bearing structure requires engineering review. A completed customer drawing can be reviewed through OEM / Build-to-Print, while a new concept can move into Full ODM development.
