A custom acrylic night light is a small system, not just a printed panel. The artwork, acrylic edge, base slot, LEDs, controls, power and package need to work together. This guide helps buyers prepare a useful first brief without turning it into a technical specification.

Begin with the finished use

Tell the project team whether the light will be sold as a personalized gift, a branded desk sign, a children's décor item, an event product or part of a retail collection. Include the destination country, sales channel, estimated quantity and required date. Those facts help narrow the product route before visual details are discussed.

Choose the closest existing format

A current product gives the first review a real base, control and power arrangement. Use the RGB acrylic 3D illusion night light for a multicolor tabletop reference, the rechargeable 7-color desk sign when portable use matters, or the warm-white acrylic night light when the engraving should remain the main focus.

Keep standard facts separate from requested changes

Identify the selected model first, then list the changes you need. Artwork, an approved logo position and packaging may fit an ODM / Private Label solution. A customer-supplied completed design can be reviewed as OEM / Build-to-Print. A new base, electronics layout or unsupported function belongs in a Full ODM review.

Review the complete sample

The panel should be tested in the actual base with the final artwork direction. Check insertion, balance, visible hot spots, line clarity, controls, cable or charging behavior and how the pieces return to the package. Approval of a loose acrylic panel does not confirm the finished product.

First inquiry checklist

  • Closest product URL or reference photo
  • Intended customer and sales channel
  • Artwork plus preferred acrylic outline and size
  • Light color and control preference
  • Power method and included accessories
  • Packaging direction and instruction language
  • Destination country, quantity and target date
  • Required changes separated from optional ideas

Confirm market scope for the exact version

Power parts, battery configuration, markings, instructions and document needs can change with the ordered version and destination. Review them against the final product configuration. A report or specification for one model does not automatically cover a different battery, adapter, base or electronic design.
